Position Overview
The Vice President of Engineering is a key leadership role within DPM, responsible for overseeing product design, development, and process engineering. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this individual will lead a team of 12 design and process engineers, ensuring innovation, efficiency, and technical excellence in all engineering functions. The person in this role will work closely with operations, quality, and production teams to ensure continuous improvement and maintain DPM’s high standard of manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the engineering team.
- Oversee product design and development to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize engineering processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with operations and quality teams to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Identify and implement new technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with executives to align engineering strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Previous experience in managing team members.
- Have an understanding of precision machining and metal component manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish.
- Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $150,000-$180,000 per year.
