Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule future appointments
  • Quote needed and recommended repairs.
  • Estimate costs of repairs, as required.
  • Advises the expected time the unit will be in the shop and immediately informs the customer of any delays incurred.
  • Provides status updates and additional repair estimates as required.
  • Create new Sales Orders and Jobs to reflect the customer service requests.
  • Obtain authorization for any work beyond the original scope given to the customer, prior to beginning work.
  • Provide verbal instruction to technicians.
  • Process all sales orders and jobs, updating text, entering materials, confirming job hours, issue materials, create job summery reports, invoice after review.
  • Contact customers upon job completion, including all required paperwork and invoicing.
  • Maintain satisfactory customer relations through expeditious, courteous, and fair handling of all service customer complaints.
  • Setup and communicate to purchasing parts requests for service and prep jobs.
  • Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise
  • Support all daily service department activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication with all levels of customer as well as intercompany personnel.
  • Able to react to an everchanging environment and maintain a professional attitude.
  • Able to effectively use required computer operating systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.

On-the-job experience is not required, but good attitude, good work ethic, and a team mentality is a must.
