Monticello Nursing and Rehab in Monticello, IA is seeking a Maintenance Director to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is handy with tools, has a keen eye for detail, and is dedicated to keeping our facility running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing plumbing issues, repairing equipment, and completing electrical work
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule repairs and maintenance activities
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of our facility
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
