As an Installation & Service Technician, you'll play a vital role of assembling and installing our finished custom signage to our clients.
Here’s what you’ll do:
• Prepare mounting surfaces by drilling, anchoring, or framing as needed.
• Set up ladders, scaffolding, or boom lifts and ensure proper safety protocols are followed.
• Secure work areas to prevent hazards to pedestrians or vehicles.
• Work closely with the team to understand installation specifications.
• Assemble and install various types of signage according to blueprints and design specifications.
• Mount signs on buildings, poles, or other structures using appropriate tools and hardware.
• Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and secure placement of signage.
• Install lighting components such as LEDs, for illuminated signs.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Use heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, cranes, or lifts for high-level installations.
• Properly store and maintain tools and equipment.
• Perform appropriate checks to meet safety and quality standards.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Experience and Skills:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
• Class A CDL driver’s license with air brake endorsement is preferred
• Experience in sign installation, construction, or a related trade is preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Willing to learn and train on new techniques, tools, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Basic electrical knowledge for installing illuminated signage.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Physical and Other Requirements:
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (20-50 lbs.) and work on ladders or scaffolding.
• Comfort with heights and experience using boom lifts, scissor lifts, and cranes.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Must be willing to travel to various job sites as needed.
• Must be available for overtime or weekend work when projects require it.
