Job Purpose

The Client Success Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with clients. They will serve as a primary point of contact between the client and the Solutions Management Group, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.

This position will work closely with other departments within the company to ensure that client projects are delivered on time.

This position will be responsible for sales development calls and coordinate with sales and marketing team members to understand clients' needs and potentials sales opportunities. Reaches out to customers to promote new and existing products and services. Selects appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual clients, support upselling, and achieve sales targets

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service to all Solutions Management Group staff and clients
  • Manages assigned territory accounts and client base for all verticals

  • Takes lead on new sales and referral requests that come to SMG

  • Fields phone calls and inquiries from existing and prospective new clients as needed

  • Drives sales through a consultive approach using cold calling techniques

  • Supports sales and business development with sales contract management for optimum client retention

  • Assists Business Development team with data processing, pricing, and sales presentations

  • Develops and manages sales pipeline with core three (3) clients

  • Creates proposals for core three (3) clients

  • Processes Audio Visual and Print college orders

  • Processes VS & A and Structured cable orders

  • Works with the Marketing department and Sales Specialist to manage the Internal Campaign

  • Builds rapport with clients while identifying areas of opportunity, highlighting best practices, and documenting both

  • Completes small ordering processing for small business ventures

Work Schedule

The employee works a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

This position is Non-Exempt.

Qualifications

  • Employees must be able to execute strong customer service skills
  • Proven track record of successful account management and exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, Excel skills are required
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Strong process skills
  • Two years inside sales experience is preferred
