Position: Financial Analyst
DPM is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Finance Department. Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong foundation in financial modeling, budgeting, and data-driven insights to help drive the company’s growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, cost analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Analyze key financial metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support the evaluation of capital expenditures and investment opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and engineering teams to provide financial insights.
- Monitor industry trends, economic conditions, and competitor performance to inform strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear manner.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience).
