Winslow House Care Center in Marion, IA, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for our skilled nursing facility to lead our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As the DON, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to create a multidisciplinary approach to resident care.
• Monitor and assess the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Iowa.
• Previous experience in a leadership role in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and staff.
